Oblivion, real name unknown, is the CEO of Cortex Corp. She is a scientist who has made numerous ground-breaking discoveries. In Verdara, perfpals did not advance technologically, but instead botanically. By furthering the study of plants and their fullest capacity, the world of Verdara heavily relies on her research for almost all facets of life. Her progress has been shown throughout all of Verdara's history, though people remark it's rather odd just how long she's been around in Verdara. 

People describe her as "obsessively logical," remarking that she seems to completely lack empathy and an understanding of others' feelings.  Nowhere is off limits whenever it comes to what she must do to progress her research. This has led to some questionable experiments she's undergone that have been hidden from the world. All that has been discovered are mutant plants, but there are rumors that there are mutant Perfpal-Plant hybrids.  

Players are on a secret mission, sent to rid Verdara of her creations and bring an end to these experiments once and for all. Only they know the basic secrets about Cortex Corp. and Oblivion, but there is still much, much, much more to learn.
