Character Categories

Official characters that represent the Perfpals species and community! These mascots help bring the world of Perfpals to life and are not available for adoption.

Unique designs lovingly crafted by Perfpal Guest Artists! These special adopts are available for adoption through our Discord server.  Join the community and give one a home!

Perfpals created by community members using MYO tickets. These are unofficial designs made with love and creativity.  You must comply with the individual artists' TOS on top of Perfpals.

Perfpals created by others for events without using their own MYO ticket! Usually these include Secret Santa Perfpals or other gift exchanges, but can also include events where the MYO is provided for the event specifically.

Characters created in collaboration with another closed species. These designs must comply with the Terms of Service (TOS) of both species and may be subject to revocation by either species' owner if guidelines are not followed. This category overrides the "event" and "giveaway" tags, as it has its separate category.

Perfpal pets! They cannot exist without a Perfpal to belong to!

Voiding is the process of rendering a Perfpal design unofficial, thereby removing it from the Perfpal species. This typically applies to characters owned by individuals who have been banned from the community. Voided Perfpals are retained on the site for archival and record-keeping purposes and will not be removed from the database.

Voided Perfpals are no longer recognized as part of the official species and may not be used in any sanctioned group activities, events, or prompts. Perfpals holds no affiliation with, nor responsibility for, how banned individuals choose to use their voided characters.

Should a voided Perfpal be traded or sold to a legitimate member of the community, it may be reinstated as an official Perfpal and returned to its regular classification. However, we strongly advise members to proceed with caution, as bans are issued for serious reasons. 

If you are banned, we strongly encourage trading your Perfpals to legitimate members of the community. Alternatively, you are welcome to redesign the character and resell the official Perfpal version.
