So you might've noticed we're a little late...

We're super sorry about the news/update delay! Both admins were our of town for the entire weekend and had very little time to send out updates. We're here now! But as compensation for the delay, we added a free Sweet Bee ribbon to the Stitching Shop for this month, so grab it while you can!

That'd be our booster ribbon this month! You can grab one in the shop right now, but if you really like the traits and wanna use it more you can earn free use for it all month by boosting our Discord server! You can check out the traits for it by clicking the ribbon below:

Discord updates

We're beginning our fourth year of running Perfpals, a blessing we can't thank you all enough for! However, as it stands now, we have TOO MANY EMOJIS in our current discord server! Because of this, we've decided to make a second discord to move the emoji icons for retired threads/ribbons/items to in order to free up some emoji space in our main server! Not a huge change or anything, but we thought we should let you know! The link to the emoji server will be in the announcements there if you're interested and want to be able to continue to use those old emoji icons!

For this months event, team up with another server member to create the ultimate Perfpal pairing! All kinds of love are important, and some say that "love and hate are one in the same".

Platonic love:

You and your partner both win a Scientific Thread for fullfilling the following requirements:

- One writing about the duo (750 word minimum)

- One drawing of the duo hanging out and having fun

Romantic love:

You and your partner both win a Cupid Thread for fullfilling the following requirements:

- Write at least two love letters the Perfpals have exchanged (No word count minimum, but please put in effort)

- One drawing of your Perfpals kissing!

Love & hate:

You and your partner both win a Shine Thread for fullfilling the following requirements:

- One writing about how your Perfpals came to loath each other (750 word minimum)

- One drawing of your Perfpals not being able to stand each other

After submitting your entries to the gallery, please submit a claim with links to both gallery posts (You may use the description to link multiple posts) and the prize you want to submit them for! This event will close at the end of the month.

want to try being a guest artist:

We're putting all our energy into the website right now, woohoo! You've seen our updated look, and currently we're working towards upgrading to Lorekeeper v3 so we can add ko-fi/patreon integration (sweet!). In the mean time, we'd like to have nice background art for our location pages to give everyone a good feel of how each area looks, and to dress up those pages a bit more!

We would love to commission a talented artist to make this happen (neither of us are particulary equipped for drawing fantasy backgrounds >w<) What does that mean for you? How can you help? And whats all that  got to do with being a guest artist anyways?

We want to run another community gachapon!

You'll be able to make your own designs and buy from other users this time!

- Users can sign up to be a guest artist and make one Perfpal adopt

- Users can buy an adopt from the gachapon for $10 USD

- The money goes directly towards commissioning an artist for background artwork
