Baking Bunch

Athena opens the front door and gently shut it behind her, heading forward, she found herself by the kitchen counter, smiling as she watched Grace professionally making up some new recipe she came up with, Camille trying her best to help, mostly just mixing ingredients Grace already combined, “hello girls,” Athena said with a friendly wave, “what are you baking?” 

“Oh! A new cookie cake recipe I came up with in a dream!!” Grace said eagerly, grabbing the bowl of the homemade frosting, and offering it towards her with a spoon, “try!” Grace grinned eagerly.

Athena smiled warmly, gently taking the spoon and taking a small scoop of the frosting and tasting it, “mmm… that's good. Almond and lemon?”

“Mhmm!” Grace placed the bowl bake down, pulling out the yellow sugar cookies from the oven and the chocolate cake from the fridge, she began applying the green frosting in leaf-like shapes, Athena goes around the counter to join the duo, helping frost the cake, the three then work together to decorate the cake, making it look like a cute lemon tree cake, the cake is the log, the frosting the leaves, and the cookies lemons.

After letting the cake cool and solidifying the frosting in the fridge, Athena pulls it out to place it at the table, “what sprouted this idea?” Athena asked as she sat beside Camille, Grace fetching a cake knife from the kitchen.

“Well… it's our 5 year anniversary since we met!” Grace said, offering the knife to Camille, who looked surprised at the offer, smiling and taking the knife.

“Thank you,” Camille said, cutting a few slices out of the cake for each of them, and they celebrated the anniversary with a delicious new cake.
